Getting here is easy!

St. John’s offers daily bus transportation to and from Northern Virginia, Potomac, Germantown, Olney, Laurel, Bowie and Washington, DC, for an additional fee. Students may also purchase one-time-use passes in the school store. The school is easily accessible from the Metro, and we offer a free shuttle to and from the Silver Spring and Friendship Heights Metro stations.
 

Current Bus Routes

Actual routes and times will be determined by the number of requests and will be finalized in September. Transportation begins on August 30 for Freshman/Transfer Student Orientation. Please be at your stop 10 minutes prior to departure time. Bus passes will be available for purchase in the school store only. After the first week of school, students will be required to present a bus pass to ride the bus. The pricing is based on a 36-week school year for 2016-2017:

  • Fall (11 weeks): Round Trip $550; One Way $275
  • Winter (13 weeks): Round Trip $650; One Way $325
  • Spring (12 weeks): Round Trip $600; One Way $300
  • Year-Long (36 weeks): Round Trip $1,800; One Way $900
  • A one-time-use pass may also be purchased for $10
