Entrepreneurial Program

The Entrepreneurial Center for Innovation and Social Impact, developed in accordance with our Lasallian values, encourages students to be creative in thinking and bold in action. It is a four-year, cross-curricular learning experience unlike anything students will encounter in a traditional classroom.
Throughout their involvement in the program, students focus on the importance of social responsibility and come to understand their role in creating a positive impact, both within their communities and beyond.
A Lasallian education must continually challenge itself to be creative while remaining faithful to its orgins. St. John Baptist de La Salle
Program Overview
The Entrepreneurial Program at St. John’s is a dynamic experience; the journey can begin as early as freshman year. Initially, students may join the Entrepreneurship Club, where they gain hands-on experience managing student-run ventures, such as our vending machine business and rooftop vegetable farm. Through these projects, they learn every stage of a business—from concept to implementation and operation, integrating real-world business practice with their academic studies. The program is further enriched by visits from successful alumni entrepreneurs, field trips, and other immersive opportunities.
Academically, the program serves as a four-credit concentration—essentially a mini college degree in business and entrepreneurship. Students begin with foundational electives, progress to an AP-level Introduction to Business and Finance course, and the Economics course with the option for AP credit. The journey culminates in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Capstone. Upon graduation, students possess both robust academic knowledge and strong practical entrepreneurial skills, fully preparing them for future business endeavors.
