Cabaret Night

St. John’s held a Cabaret Night in the Frana Auditorium.
Cabaret Night provided a stage for SJC students to perform, much like the Open Mic Night.  Twenty-four students performed a total of twenty-three acts.
Senior Rose Safford led the organization of tonight’s event.  Rose admits it was a daunting task, “One thing I learned is the importance of making clear the ‘requirements’ to perform.  Many people initially thought only theatre students could sign up, so we had to clarify it was open to all St. John’s students.  Hopefully, each year it’ll get easier to plan and organize and it will be easier to get sign ups.”
The proceeds of tonight’s performance will be used for mic rentals and/or light maintenance for the upcoming production of Chicago.
