St. John’s Welcomes New Director of Communications

St. John’s is pleased to welcome Pamela Wolf as the new director of communications.
Wolf comes to St. John’s with more than 10 years of experience as a public relations and marketing professional for nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies and the federal government. Her focus has been strategic planning, digital marketing, social media, branding, managing partnerships and visual communications. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in public relations from the University of Maryland.
 
Starting her career in the financial sector and then working at the Library of Congress, Wolf promoted business enterprises to support the library’s mission and launched the first digital marketing campaign, which included a strategy for the National Book Festival. 
 
While working on her master’s degree, she was a marketing and communication strategies consultant for the Treasury Department and Fannie Mae’s “Making Home Affordable” program in response to the 2008 economic recession. 
 
In 2016, she worked to advance voting efforts in the national election cycle. Following political campaigning, she developed critical messaging devoted to the mission and vision of Wesley Housing, a low-income housing-based nonprofit. When the opportunity arose to help Marriott International integrate with Starwood hotels, she jumped at the chance to help overhaul one of the largest mergers on a global scale. 
 
Wolf has also dedicated numerous hours of volunteer work as a communications specialist with local nonprofits. She resides in Hyattsville, MD, with her husband and two dogs.
