On Nov. 27 and 28, moms scurried the halls of SJC and transformed the school into a winter wonderland of decorated wreathes, trees and manger scenes. The main attraction was a large, gorgeous Christmas tree donated by the Mancabelli family. The tree reached the ceiling in the main entrance and was decorated from top to bottom with red ribbons, lights and hanging ornaments.
We would like to thank Rhonda Taylor, Victoria Jackson and Sheila Francis, who chaired the committee this year, for organizing the setup of decorations and their takedown. Their dedication, eye for design and leadership skills made the events a success. A special thanks to Mr. Themistos for providing food and refreshments to all the volunteers.
We would like to send a special thanks to facilities employees because “what goes up must come down,” and much to our surprise, they took down all of the decorations.
