For the last day of our European expedition, we drove through a scenic route along the Swiss Alps towards a medieval castle on Lake Geneva.
While we thoroughly enjoyed the view from the castle, we had a busy day ahead of us, so we headed toward a Gruyere cheese factory. We enjoyed a stinky cheese tour (in a good way) with our favorite cow, Cherry.
Afterward, we were given liberty to roam a medieval town and buy souvenirs and food; the most prominent menu item was fondue. Yummy. We continued the expedition with our final shopping spree, and then we went to an English-speaking Mass. As the day came to a close, we finished with dinner and packed our bags for a long journey ahead.
