Morgan Whyte
Head Swim & Dive Coach and
Assistant Director of Admissions

Morgan Whyte graduated from St. John’s College High School in 2012, part of a family legacy with brothers Roger Whyte, II, ’04, and Ryan Whyte, ’06. As a student at St. John’s, Ms. Whyte was a member of student government, the admissions ambassador program, as well as a member of the field hockey, lacrosse, and swim teams. After graduation, she went on to attend the University of Delaware where she continued her swimming career, specializing in sprint freestyle where she was a four-year varsity letter winner, four-year All Conference, two-year team MVP, and three-year qualifier for US Winter Nationals. Whyte currently holds the school record in both the 50- and 100-yard free and was the CAA conference champion in both events in 2015.
Whyte graduated from the University of Delaware in 2016 and went on to work in global and regional merchandising at Under Armour in Baltimore, and later worked in auxiliary programs at Sidwell Friends School. Ms. Whyte is thrilled to return to St. John’s College High School as the Head Swim and Dive Coach and Assistant Director of Admissions, beginning in August 2021.
As a coach Ms. Whyte’s goal is to build an environment that encourages athletes to learn both in and out of the pool, and to develop student–athletes into confident, well-rounded young people who cultivate a love and appreciation for the sport of swimming.
