Annual Waclawik 5K Honors Former Student

On Monday, Oct. 24, students, faculty, and staff gathered for a fun 5K in memory of Carl Waclawik, a member of the SJC class of 2010 and cross-country team, who passed away in 2007.
Carl had a wonderful spirit, loved running, and above all, valued the SJC community. The run, a free event open to the entire SJC community, started behind Cassidy Commons and traversed Rock Creek Park along the paved path parallel to Oregon Ave. The challenging out-and-back course offers beautiful views in the fall.
