Bastogne and Reims - April 4

Yesterday we were back at school with our hosts. Everyone is pretty scattered throughout the school on these days, and we all follow different schedules. Mr. Mancabelli and Mr. Sipowitz were able to join us today and have lunch at the school. They had a nice tour before leaving and headed on to prepare for our arrival in Reims.
We left this morning quite early at 6:30 am to start our trek to Bastogne in Belgium. The Belgian city is home to the Bastogne War Museum, which we were able to tour. It was a great museum that showed the progression of the invasion in the area through various exhibits and movies.

We had lunch and then headed off to Reims, France, to meet up with Mr. Mancabelli and Mr. Sipowitz. There we had the opportunity to visit St. John Baptist de La Salle's birthplace and first home.
