St. John’s Computer Science Department is a comprehensive program that does not require any prior experience. The curriculum develops students’ computer and information literacy skills, with the goal of enabling them to become successful problem-solvers, decision-makers and communicators.

Progress in the computer science field has been enormously rapid in the last 25 years, and St. John’s is committed to offering a challenging, multi-faceted computer science program that provides students the opportunity to use the latest technology in order to accomplish amazing things.

We offer courses in multiple programming languages, web design and 3D design. Classes are designed to ensure that students have a solid foundation to be successful in college if they choose to pursue a major in computer science.

Students have access to computer technology for their own coursework throughout the school, whether through our multiple computer labs or through the use of iPads in classes or the library.
