    On Nov. 2, St. John’s welcomed 11 individuals and three teams to the Athletic Hall of Fame.

    On Nov. 5, the Class of 2022 participated in a “Day of Leadership,” the second freshman experience in St. John’s Entrepreneurial Center curriculum.

    A Shared Heritage

    On Oct. 24, a group of 25 St. John’s faculty and staff members gathered together with 18 Christian Brothers at La Salle Hall, the Christian Brothers retirement community in Beltsville, for a joint Heritage on Tap event.
  • Pittsburgh Instant Decision Day

    On Oct. 19, St. John’s hosted an Instant Decision Day in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh. SJC was one of only six high schools selected from across the country to participate in this program.
  • Audience with an Author 2018

    On Sept. 20, St. John’s welcomed Washington Post White House correspondent Anne Gearan as the featured speaker for the English Department’s annual Audience with an Author event.

    Celebrating Academic Honors

    On Sept. 16, St. John’s honored students and teachers for their achievements during the 2017-2018 school year at the annual Academic Convocation.

    Honoring Global Citizenship

    In August 2018, St. John’s received the Global Citizenship Award from Amigos de las Américas, a nonprofit organization that runs authentic, immersive volunteer programs in Latin America. 
  • An Inclusive Partnership

    This summer, nonprofit organization Best Buddies International honored St. John’s as the Outstanding Promoter Chapter for the Capital Region based on the school’s efforts during the 2017-2018 school year.
  • AFI Day 2018

    On May 9, St. John’s Cadet Corps held its annual Awards Ceremony and Pass In Review. This year’s distinguished guest was Bro. Thomas Casey, FSC, auxiliary visitor for DENA.
